Startups should treat Jev as a narrow production habit: pin a model, freeze five questions, log traces, abstain. Not as a branding layer called “our AI brain.”

Risks if you skip the boring parts

A startup that pastes Playground output into production without a pin will retune floors after every alias move. A startup that asks Jev to write onboarding email will hit jaggedness (generation) and still need an ESP. Keep the first production loop boring: one door, one questions file, one gold set, one fail-closed default.

Vendor list price is cheap per call at $0.042 / M input — until you send the whole CRM row. Filter. Official: unused state still bills and hurts jev-1.13 accuracy.

If you only have OpenRouter or Vercel credentials this week, use that door’s model id. Do not copy first-party noul examples into a boolean schema.
